Clarinet: Posters + App
For those learning clarinet who want a clear visual reference for all fingerings.
4 printable posters + web app to search, build and customize diagrams. Designed to give you that first push — so you can play without looking at anything.

What makes it special?
Clarinet fingering charts you find online show the instrument as if someone else were holding it in front of you — from the outside, from the camera's point of view. When you look at that and then look at your own clarinet, left and right are reversed.
These posters are drawn from your own point of view: as if your clarinet were semi-transparent and you were looking at it from behind. What you see in the diagram matches exactly what you see when you play. Mirrored versions (both vertically and horizontally) are also included for those who prefer the traditional format.
What's included?
- Note-by-note mode: enter the notes you want and see the corresponding clarinet diagrams on screen. Ideal to have handy while reading sheet music.
- Arpeggio mode: enter a chord (e.g. "Dm") and it shows all its notes (D, F and A) across the entire clarinet range.
- Import MIDI: upload a MIDI file with up to 4 channels, each displayed in a different color.
- Chromatics: add approach notes from above or below with one click.
- Transpose with arrows: move everything up or down a semitone without rewriting anything.
- Memorization mode: randomly hide labels to practice from memory.
- Download: All images you generate with the app can be easily downloaded and printed (by enabling the white background).

"The ideal is to move past this as soon as possible."
These posters and the app aren't meant for you to play while staring at a screen or a wall forever. They're designed to give you that first push — so you can start, memorize the fingerings, and then play with your eyes closed and express yourself freely.
